Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Knockoffs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Knockoffs is a group ticket coordination platform that enables organizers to manage shared season-ticket packages. The Service facilitates attendance tracking, cost sharing, payment coordination, game-day reminders, and ticket redistribution among group members.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Accounts and Access
Access to the Service is granted via invitation from a group organizer or by signing up as an organizer. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account. You agree to provide accurate contact information and to update it if it changes.
5. SMS Communications (Optional)
SMS messaging is an optional feature of the Service. You can fully use Knockoffs — including receiving schedules, invoices, confirmations, and game-day information — without opting into SMS. All essential communications are also delivered via email.
If you choose to opt in to SMS messaging through our sign-up form, you will receive text messages at the phone number you provide, which may include:
- > Game-day reminders (approximately 5 days before each game)
- > Invoice and payment notifications
- > Ticket-release notifications from other group members
Message frequency varies based on your participation level, typically 12-20 messages per user during the MLB season. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Schedule Confirmation
Confirming your game schedule constitutes a commitment to pay for your share of tickets. If you are unable to attend specific games, you may release those tickets to other group members through the Service, but you remain financially responsible for tickets purchased on your behalf unless arrangements are made with your organizer. Organizers retain the ability to modify member schedules. Schedule confirmations and any related communications are delivered via email regardless of SMS opt-in status.
7. Ticket Release
You may release tickets for games you can no longer attend. Releasing a ticket notifies other group members but does not guarantee it will be claimed. You remain responsible for the cost unless other arrangements are made with your organizer.
8. Payments
The Service facilitates cost calculation and payment coordination but does not process payments directly. Payments are made through third-party platforms (e.g., Venmo, PayPal). Any disputes regarding payments, refunds, or cost allocation are between you and your group organizer. Knockoffs is not a party to any payment arrangement and has no responsibility for collection, dispute resolution, or refunds.
9. User Conduct
- > Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes.
- > Do not attempt unauthorized access to the Service.
- > Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- > Do not share authentication links with others.
- > Do not provide false or misleading information.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knockoffs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knockoffs and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
